Stuart is a commercials director specialising in both comedy and cars.
In commercials, Stuart recently directed a stunning ad in Japan for Mazda’s Art of Manufacturing campaign, capturing beautifully each stage in the creation of their signature car, while his latest work for Hendrick’s Gin saw him employ his trademark sense of humour to create a set of 1970s-inspired films around World Cucumber Day.
Stuart’s independent work, meanwhile, has a strong focus on drama. His beautiful short film The Nature of Daylight combines incredible performances with assured visual storytelling. Next up is a new short made as part of Progress’ Lost But Not Forgotten series, dropping very soon.
