As a charity, Childnet’s mission is “to work in partnership with others around the world to help make the internet a great and safe place for children”.
As part of this online community, we felt strongly about supporting their campaign for two new films.
For Safer Internet Day 2015, we produced #Up2Us, a film made by over 150 schoolchildren about their online experiences – both good and bad – which aims to inspire young people across the UK to do something kind online. The film, featuring children from schools across the UK, premiered at Microsoft’s offices in London in February 2015.
Our second brief from Childnet was to create an animated film to support the launch of their international annual film competition. Our team worked with the Childnet character ‘Monster’ - the mascot behind the campaign - to raise awareness for the competition. The animation has received high hits due to its audience of young filmmakers.
