NCS – YES Live 360°
Freedom 360° Explorer
We joined the National Citizen Service at Yes Live, a live music and awards show celebrating the social action stars of today and tomorrow, recognising the amazing work young people do on while on NCS, and the massive impact they have on communities.
In partnership with CC-Lab, we created two films using the latest 360° technology.
Around the Roundhouse
Our first film placed viewers at the very heart of the event, on stage with Tinie Tempah and Jess Glynne. London's iconic Roundhouse proved the perfect venue for performance filming of this kind.
Green room to stage
With a 360° rig mounted on a helmet, our second experiential film took us from dressing room to cheering crowds from the point of view of a performer, granting a never before seen look at life in the spotlight - with the addition of a good luck from Tinie Tempah himself.
It all starts at yes
Together, the films highlighted the potential of 360° technology to capture live performances. Mirroring the ethos of NCS itself, these films proved that the best thing for young volunteers is to truly get involved in the action.
