Network Rail  -  You vs. Train

'You vs. Train' is a campaign spearheaded by Network Rail and the British Transport Police.

For the central film, director Ben Lankester created a thrilling, moving account of Tom Hubbard, a 16-year-old who received life-changing injuries when he jumped a fence with his friends and climbed aboard a stationary train.

The 2018 summer heatwave gifted us two beautiful days to shoot the film. Whilst top prosthetic and pyrotechnic teams were brought on board alongside real ambulance and transport police units, the beating heart of the film came from the moving performances of our four leads and the presence of the real Tom and his mother on set.

Following a national TV and cinema run, the film is now shown in schools to warn teenagers across the UK about the dangers of trespassing on the railway.
